NOTHING COMPARES TO THE GAIN OF CHRIST IN OUR LIFE! The apostle Paul lets us know that there is nothing too good, nothing too sweet and indeed nothing too great that compares to the gain of Christ in our life. Anything else may be described with its degree of goodness yet; there is surely nothing that is as wonderful as the gain of Christ! Philippains 3:7-9 (NIV) But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. There are things which look so shiny that they may pose the danger of stopping one from letting Christ become master of ones life. The word of God shows us that there are things which must amount to nothing, things which conflict with the mastership and Lordship of Jesus in our life. That means there must never be anything too good to let go for the sake of gaining Christ. So, all our riches, emotions,our education our businesses, our relationships should all be subject to the Lordship of Christ and therefore should be used to the extention of Gods kingdom, to reach the unreached and to tell the untold. Nothing should by any means compare to the gain of Christ in us by any means. Our depth of love for Christ must therefore never be determined by material possession or gains. With or without a husband, Jesus is still Lord! With or without persecution he remains our master and the eternal creator! Well truth is that, all things are ours... we are not trying to get anything, we are joint heirs with Christ and so possessors of the Universe with Christ! Romans 8:17 (KJV) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Nothing will separate you from the love and gain of Christ! Be it your new job, it does not matter what it is; you are holding on to Christ and you will surely not look back! There is nothing better than this gain of Christ. We have been enriched with eternal life (the God kind of Life) in him, we therefore glory and rejoice in the Lord for this precious benefit! I declare that your fellowship with Christ has just become richer and deeper in the name of Jesus! Nothing will separate you from this glorious love with the Lord in Jesus name! Your love for the Lord shall not be seasonal!
