Implementation of (OHS policy and examining it) OHS legislation, procedures, measures standards and OHS legislation Reviewing and revitalizing the OHS plans and strategies Communicable diseases Prevention Strategies for Safety Officials Conducting OHS Risk Assessment and Evaluation Responsible for incidents/ Accidents management OHS,HIV and Disability Management OHS Consultation Strategy in the workplace Occupational Hygiene and Internal OHS auditing OHS/Emergency First Aid / Fire Management Requirements: Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification Good Interpersonal Skills Matric/NQF4 Computer Literacy Valid Code B Drivers licence Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Salary: R 146 834.00 per annum (Task grading 10) TECHNICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT 2.1 X ASSISTANT HEAD: ELECTRO TECHNICAL SERVICES (Electrician) Key responsibilities Manage Electrical Engineering Services within delegated powers and responsibilities. Planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling of electricity supply function. Responsible for the sound utilization allocated resources within engineering services Budgeting and financial control Utilization and development personnel Advising on all electricity supply matters Ensuring that Council REQUIREMENTS Drivers License NTS 3 Minimum 3 Phase Wireman’s License First Aid Course and OHS Certificate will be an added advantage 5-6 Years experience Must know 1000-3000 Volts MVH Switch gear, MVLV Cable Jointing, MVLV Construction Line, and Transformers. Possess Supervisionary Skills Understanding and interpretation of Technical Data.
