NOTICE: Our shipping times are in our invoices and shipping - TopicsExpress

NOTICE: Our shipping times are in our invoices and shipping times are explained further in our terms of agreement. Rush fees are available for any order and guarantee we will ship within 24 hours. The fee is $8 no matter how large or small your order. Rush fees are common in any market and are necessary as we are unable to play favorites about who gets shipped first. Our pre-orders are the largest currently placed in the small business fabric shop market. If you are unable to wait for several thousand yards to be processed, please do consider a rush fee. It is publicly available on our Facebook page how many orders we are processing and we take every step necessary to work very long hours to process orders. We are unable to refund a customer because that customer failed to take into consideration our ship times when they allowed their customers to pre-order. We as the business owner and employees are responsible for reading policies and ship times when we order with a business and we would never demand, grow upset with, or in any other way blame the business if we failed to read policies thoroughly. (I personally did this recently with a company and I absolutely did not request a refund. It was my fault, not that companys, and I wasnt going to change their companys financial income just because I did not take the time to read up on their ship times. I especially wasnt going to demand a refund because this was another mom, just like me, providing for her family.) Repeated requests to cancel just because a customer forgot is also an issue and very likely can result in deactivation of an account. I often forget what I order because as a shop owner, I order quite frequently. My designers would refuse to work with me if I emailed them and said oh I forgot, can I just not do this one or that one? It is not respectful to them as businesspeople. Late fees are always taken off if you are waiting on a response from us. However, if you are late because you forgot, or because your email wasnt working, or your smart phone didnt display your email right, or you were out of town, or even an actual emergency, the invoice is still in fact late. I dont have a clue why but I always seem to forget my water bill. Once I forgot because Niklas has pneumonia and I was pretty busy with him. Let me just say that the city doesnt care why Im late. Im just late. Just because I am a small business does not mean that late fees shouldnt be paid. We are a small business, not a large corporation. It is disrespectful to assume we can cancel invoices or decrease simply because you forgot. It is unfortunate to have to post this but my customer service the hours I spend dedicated to my customers, and the lengths at which I will go to help a customer and procure desired fabric means that patience and understanding should be exercised and orders should not be placed without the full intention of paying. (Yall know me pretty well and you know I like fun, full of life, down to Earth posts but very cut and dry business posts are also sometimes necessary - will keep this pinned for the very lengthy future :) ) Terms of agreement: https://docs.google/forms/d/19vntwNaZ_EuOs6lTVao_5XxR3LiMawpvmmORCinY0CY/viewform https://docs.google/forms/d/1szWu6G4i0CuPMlOZHeiaGrlCtKIazz1J2ncwcJxbWoI/viewform
