NOTICE TO ALL STAFF AND STUDENTS Following the spate of incessant demands and protest action by a group of students in the Alice campus, who have now become violent and destroying University property, and putting the other students and staff at risk, it has therefore become necessary to protect the property, staff and students from the unruly actions of this group of students. The University therefore has no other option but to close the Alice campus from 03pm (15h00) today. All students are therefore requested to vacate University residences on the Alice campus before 11h00 tomorrow, Thursday 31 July 2014. All students are expected back on campus on Friday 8 August 2014 at 18h00. In the meantime, the University Management will engage the student leadership to resolve the impasse. On Friday 08 August 2014 at 08:00am, all registered students must report at the Sports Complex for re-registration. Thereafter normal academic programmes will resume forthwith.haybo
