NOVEMBER 16th, 10am - 4pm DAY OF MINDFULNESS RETREAT The Day of Mindfulness is a beautiful and important part of meditation learning and practice. Im posting this reminder that well start at 10 am, and will be done no later than 4 pm. Lunch will be provided. For those of you who have special dietary needs, feel free to bring a lunch. Water and tea provided and will be available throughout the day. There will be enough cushions and chairs, but if you have a favorite cushion, feel free to bring it. Weather permitting, this retreat will be held both inside and outside. Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather that day, so that you can enjoy mindfulness outdoors. Also, please bring a watch or another time keeping device. The Day of Mindfulness is conducted mostly in noble silence and includes both guided and silent mindfulness meditations, walking mindfulness meditation, opportunities to practice both indoors and in nature, free time to allow you to mindfully be and explore and reflect upon your inner and outer moment-to-moment experience, mindful eating meditation (lunch), loving-kindness meditation, and opportunity for questions to help integrate the days experience. https://rootedinmindfulness.org/mindfulness-retreats.html#mindfulnessretreatscheduleandregistration
