NSW Police Force is set to host a beach soccer day for International Students on Sydney’s Eastern Beaches tomorrow. The Latin American International Students Beach Soccer Tournament is being hosted by Eastern Beaches Local Area Command on the sand at Coogee Beach from 9am to 3pm tomorrow (Sunday 29 September 2013). Supported by Football Federation Australia, Randwick City Council and SBS, the event will see students with Brazilian, Chilean, Colombian, Mexican, Peruvian or Venezuelan heritages represent their country in a round-robin soccer competition. Students from schools, TAFE colleges, English language colleges, universities and other educational institutions across Sydney have registered to play and celebrate Latin culture and a love of the world game. Spectators will also be able to enjoy a selection of South American food stalls and entertainment, as well as special police displays. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
