Naming the Goddess… we’re going to have an epilogue, a new Goddess myth/story, contemporary, edgy, the Goddess today… a fitting and creative end to the book. If you’d like to honour the Goddess by writing it, message me or email me your idea / outline this weekend. If more than one person responds I will put all the ideas to two JHP publishers and we’ll decide between us who writes it. The rubric for the myth is that it must be 1500-2000 words, contemporary and delivered by 28th February. What are we looking for… I don’t really know… but If she’s working in a refugee camp or if she’s a suburban mum, bringing up two kids, or if she’s a teacher or a therapist or a reformed drug addict or if she’s lying in bed at the end of her days reflecting upon her life, I’m interested. If she lives in an enchanted forest or wears a red cloak I’m not interested. If no one volunteers we’ll drop the idea.
