Napperby update: The fire is still around 2km away from township of Napperby and has been moving in a south-westerly direction. The fire intensity has decreased due to lowering of wind strength, and the wind direction is more variable. CFS, MFS and NSW RFS strike teams are positioned in and around Napperby, as well as undertaking direct attack on the fire front. The townships of Napperby and Nelshaby remain at risk, however all available resources are in place to best manage the incident. An Emergency Warning is still current for this fire, and people in the area should enact their Bushfire Survival Plans. You should not enter this area as roads may not be safe.
