National Recruitment of 10,000 Police Officers With KCSE D+ Minimum Qualification Posted on June 30, 2014 at 2:51 pm The National Service Police Commission is inviting Kenyans aged between 18 and 30 who are interested in a career as a law enforcers to show up for recruitment on July 14th. Interested applicants should be Kenyan citizens, and should have a minimum qualification of ‘D+’ Plus in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination and should not be older than 30 years. Among other requirements, applicants should be physically, mentally and medically fit, should have no criminal conviction or pending criminal action and Female Candidates must NOT be pregnant at recruitment and during the ENTIRE training period. Candidates are also requested to submit recommendation letters from their head teachers, religious or other community leaders. You should submit a written application to the panel at the venue of recruitment addressed to the chair person of the commission stating your preference. Interested applicants with diploma and degrees are also eligible provided they fall within the recommended age bracket. Successful candidates will undergo nine month training at various police colleges in the county. However, the service has warned that candidates who canvass directly or indirectly whether knowingly, willingly and blatantly lies, misrepresents, cheats and fails to disclose material facts or engages in any corrupt activity will be disqualified and risk being arrested and prosecuted.
