Near Jackson, Missouri. Nikon D7000, 18-105 kit lens. The stone above the door says Oct 1821, which would make this one of the oldest homes west of the Mississippi... if it was a home. There are several features on it that dont quite make sense. There is a stone at the front door that seems to be a dipping tray for holy water, yet there is no cross or other sign of this being a church. The building has been added onto and seemingly parts knocked off of it, and has had a horrible tuck-pointing job done at some point in the past. The roof has obviously been replaced, though it seems as if the whole project was abandoned long ago.
