Necessity is the Mother of Invention. When I last went to Dr. - TopicsExpress

Necessity is the Mother of Invention. When I last went to Dr. Barr for my hygiene appt. We saw this large filling that was partially broken - Upper Left but failed to mention what needed to be done. I always wait for him to decide when to do what. The next day - I saw another tooth in the front where the filling had come out - possibly dislodged through cleansing. I bought a self-filling patch kit and tried to repair the front tooth - unsuccessfully over a whole week - once gluing my upper lip with something like super-glue. Then, I wiggled and wiggled my broken tooth until small pieces broke off - until all I was faced with was one large chunk. I worked on this piece for about four days until I managed to break it off and pull it out. Sure it was somewhat painful - but now much less uncomfortable. We South Africans are well-known for applying necessity ... Necessity is the Mother of Invention in such matters. After-all - I have often conducted various surgical procedures on various parts of my body - throughout my teenage years.
