Sorry, have to brag on my kid again. Isnt that what Facebook is for, anyway? I love this comment on Eleanors report card. I know shes smart, but I love hearing that shes also a GOOD kid. Here goes: She has quickly turned to my primary go to person when I need a right answer or a comment to spur on class discussion. Her thoughtful in-class comments are a gift to all that hear them because they help us all better understand the material. Her quiz and test grades reflect a thorough understanding of the material and a work ethic that can only help her and inspire others. I am, particularly, impressed with her ability to empathize with the lives of the people we study. There is no better way to study history, in my opinion, than to be able to put yourself in anothers shoes. This ability will surely help her in this class and in life. It is a pleasure to teach this young scholar and I look forward to our year together.
