Need answers from the following please? James Waslaski, David Kent, Leon Chaitow, Erik Dalton, Laurel J. Freeman, Whitney Lowe, Bruce Baltz, Judith DeLany or any other licensed massage therapist and/or instructor.: 1. In your educated and trained opinion is everything connected in the body? Can you all do insurance billing? If so, what do you bill under? If a patient was referred for LBP for instance. Do you feel you should only address the LB? Give your answers if yes, if not, what justifies working on any other part of the body to address this issue? During your session to you ever talk about proper nutrition for the musculo skeletal system or supplimentation? Do you ever talk about energy channels as in meridians or marma and Nadi points? Do you feel that as a therapist we should have the right to address anything we feel is contributing? Just like PT/OT assesses bilaterally for any imbalances or weaknesses even if it is shoulder pain only? Just like a chiropractor adjusts whatever the feel is out of adjustment even if they only say their wrist is hurting? I need answers from the professionals for a problem I am trying to sort out because I was trained that everything is connected. Thoughts please?
