Need some funding? Have a crazy brilliant idea that would make it more fun to live here? We award grants to make it happen. WHO: You--college students, recent grads, young people, youthful professionals & groups, Millennials (Funded by the Community Foundation and the Knight Foundation) WHAT: Micro grants to fund projects that help young people-- · Explore and be part of the community · Connect to community life in interesting ways · Bring youthful energy and ideas to the townsfolk · Be inform and engaged with others in the community: business people, civic leaders, idea people YOU identify the need or opportunity and create your own project to address it. Grant awards will range from $500 to $3,000. WHERE: Projects take place here in Grand Forks and/or East Grand Forks WHEN: Now—fill out one-page form online to get a spot to pitch your idea at the Grants Night Event on November 7 at the Empire Arts Center HOW: All info available at gofoundation.org.
