Needing advice!!! I have a 9 year old Jack Russell who has been with me since she was a puppy. She is very dear to me and she is considered part of the family. My 4 year old son has just been bitten on the forehead by her which required butterfly stitches. I realize this is my fault for not being vigilant in watching her more closely around him and it is in no way my sons or my dogs fault. My options in dealing with this is re-homing her, putting her down if I am unable to re-home her or keeping her and finding ways to ensure this terrible incident will never happen again... My son does not want me to send her away and I dont want to either. Im receiving pressure from friends and family to get rid of her... Can anyone give me advice as to what to do? I still havent made a decision as to what to do... Please no sarcastic comments, this is heart breaking for me and my family and we want to do the right thing!!!
