Neighbors, in light of the recent acts of violence in Champaign, the United Garden Hills Neighborhood Association would like to urge you to PLEASE help the Police by remembering these few helpful tips! Report any unusual activities around your homes, call in any vehicles that you are unfamiliar with, or cars parked on your street that do not belong to a neighbor or their guest. Also form a neighborhood watch by watching your neighbors home when they are at work or away for the evening. Remember NEVER hesitate to call, it is always better to be safe then sorry! And last but not least attend your monthly neighborhood meeting to get the most recent and up to date information, or to bring your concerns to the table! Our group meets this Monday the 17th at Garden Hills School at 6:30 p.m. By working together as a "UNITED" community we can keep our neighborhood and our City a safe place to live!
