Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. ~Acts 4:12 What is that name? If we back up two verses, to verse 10, we will find out that the name is Jesus Christ. Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. ~Acts 4:10 The price that Jesus Christ paid on the cross was sufficient for our healing, our peace, our forgiveness and our victory in this life (Isaiah 53:5). There was a huge cost associated with this, but it was paid in full by God and is freely given to those who choose to believe on the name of Jesus Christ. There is no need to send in a check or money order. The requirement is that we place our faith in Jesus Christ and what He accomplished on the cross. When He cried out, It is finished (John 19:30), it really was finished. Whatever it is that we need today was paid for at Calvary and paid for by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. The only question that remains is this: What will we do with Jesus Christ? Will we receive Him and remain in Him, or will we trust in something else? After all these many years, there still isnt two ways to God. There is one way and it is through the blood of His Son. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16
