Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal has reportedly reached a final agreement with Manchester United to become the clubs new manager. The Dutchman has been widely tipped to take over at Old Trafford following the dismissal of David Moyes in April, less than 10 months after he was appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson s successor. Last week, numerous reports suggested that a deal would be wrapped up before the Dutch World Cup squad met this Wednesday afternoon to begin preparations for the tournament in Brazil. According to talkSPORT , the deals finishing touches have been made for Van Gaal, who will add current interim manager Ryan Giggs to his coaching staff at Old Trafford. The 62-year-old, who has won league titles with Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, will be handed the task of taking United forward following a season that has seen them drop to seventh in the Premier League table .
