Neurologist: you are unusual well, tell me something new Ive been hit with rubber hammers and had my feet tickled by a pretty doctor who is also puzzled: I appear to have a focal dystopia which has no focus more tests to see if there are background Parkinsons-isms ... I had a suspected bruise on the brain in 2006 and the symptoms Im experiencing might relate to that: hand spasms, generally left but also right hand (I was driving around a roundabout in 2012 and had a spasm in both hands at the same time) spasm in feet dis coordinated balance when walking sluggish, heavy, stroke-like feeling in left hand and all of left arm whoosy sensation in my head when I sit down to write in a studious way (you have no idea how inconvenient this one is) pain in my hands when typing a fear of playing certain styles of music because bar chords trigger the spasms (I am sure thus is an anchored response which I can change if I can remember to sort it next time I have students round) and that is my unusual brain today ... :)
