New Date & Time for "Back to School Bash" The City of Charlestown Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the 5th Annual “Back to School Bash” on FRIDAY JULY 26th in Greenway Park. In these tough times we want to make sure every kid has the supplies they need to be ready for the new school year. We are requesting donations to help buy school supplies, personal hygiene items, snack items and other items that will help local kids have a great school year. Please help them by making a financial donation or donating supplies. We are still in need of 500 packs of loose leaf paper, markers, index cards, tooth brushes and tooth paste and more. You may register with Parks Director Rhonda Davidson 502-413-1338, on fb, or email Rhondad@cityofcharlestown and come to Greenway Park on July 26 to give away supplies and promote your business. The event will kick off at 6:00p.m. If you choose to come to the park to participate you will need to have your booth set up by 5:00 p.m. The Parks Department will have tables available for you to use. We will be giving away 500 backpacks stuffed with school supplies and other items to Charlestown area kids in need grades kindergarten-12.
