Experience in real-time communications (VoIP/GSM) is a big plus, as is low-level (JNI/NDK) integration work. As part of a small team you will be responsible for the desktop application and the Android application for handsets and tablets. You will be working across the full range of the applications (from product design, to UI implementation, to network communication, to maintenance). You must be passionate about software development, and especially about mobile application development. My client require the Android Developer who knows the latest industry trends, has ideas about what the next big thing might be, and how to get it built; someone that can look at the big picture as well as the individual programming tasks. Skills & experience required Minimum required: *Passionate about Android; You WILL ideally have an Android phone as your own main device, follow Android groups and news and be aware of the latest APIs, design patterns and follow up where the industry is going. *Senior Java developer with more than 4 years of professional experience. Has to be proficient in design patterns, data structures, threading and performance algorithms. *Senior Android developer with more than 2 years of professional experience. Has to be proficient in list views, adapters, services, receivers, background tasks, fragments and complex UI layouts. *A sense of design, code perfection *Daily work experience with GIT or SVN *A portfolio of apps published or worked on.
