New Job Building Surveyor - TA/DA/S/BS/001 Industry: Building and Construction Job Type: Permanent Location: Tower Hamlets, London, England Salary: £35000 - £38000 per annum My client are a leading maintenance contractor based in Stratford, they are looking for an experienced building surveyor to join their team. They are offering £35,000 - £38,000 per annum on a temp to perm basis. Using your own vehicle will be required for the first 3 months. As our Building Surveyor you will ensure my clients residents receive a high quality, customer focused responsive repairs service and that my clients homes and commercial properties are effectively and efficiently maintained to the required standard, with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction. It is essential you have experience of working on void properties and day to day reactive contracts statutory and local authority compliance and structural issues. A high level of technical and problem solving knowledge will also be required. Essential: HNC or above in Building Studies or equivalent industry experience Proven ability to provide a customer focused repairs service and demonstrates commitment to customer service, satisfaction and diversity Proven building surveying ability with a good level of construction technology and contract administration knowledge Ability to understand, communicate and implement technical solutions to building problems Ability to work in partnership with a contractor to deliver repairs solutions and identify service improvement options Ability to convey information to others by way of written reports and technical specifications Demonstrable experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction In depth knowledge of Schedule of Rates and methods of measurement Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and other legislation relevant to the role Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and experience of Housing Management/Repairs database Full UK Drivers license and use of vehicle.
