New Job Business Analyst - 4991IT Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: City of London, England Salary: £30000 - £50000 per annum Our client, a specialist UK service company are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for their London Office. The company works closely with global retailers and emerging brands to deliver complex eCommerce sites on the Magento Enterprise Platform. Responsibilities will include: Pre-Sales *You will be responsible for meeting with the project owner during pre-sales and gathering and defining a projects requirements *Youll translate business requirements into specific software requirements *Youll proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements of the project *Youll provide the scope of the project to the development team *Youll ensure that the recommended solution is commercially viable for Session Digital, as well as being competitive for the client Post-Sales *Youll gather requirements for the next stage to help our Project Managers compile backlogs *Youll make suggestions and point out new opportunities for the client *Youll work independently with the users to define concepts and under the direction of Project Managers *Youll map out the clients requirement specifications according to standard templates and using natural language *Youll create snapshots of the projects intention through user journeys and diagrams *Youll collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse and agree trade-offs between usability and performance needs *Youll communicate requirements and specifications to the Project Manager *Youll serve as an on-going conduit between the customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. Skills required: *Youll have previous experience in a BA role preferably in the technology sector *Youll have recent, significant experience of working in eCommerce *Youll be familiar with Agile methodology and SCRUM, preferably having worked in this environment *Youll hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent You will be working for a leading and established company that works hard to ensure all their customers are 100% satisfied, therefore candidates must have the required energy and attitude to work, to ensure long lasting and trustworthy relationships are made with clients.
