New Job Civil Litigation Solicitor - LPH1311 Industry: Legal Job Type: Contract Location: North West England, England Salary: £30000 - £70000 per annum Our client is looking for a Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Local Authority in the Greater Manchester area. This role requires a strong and enthusiastic individual to manage existing and new caseloads within this sector. The role will involve the following; *To appear as the Councils representative at routine preliminary and unopposed hearings in court, dealing with day to day inquests and tribunals *To process and prepare legal documentation *Dealing with various legislation and procedures. *Dealing with Draft notices, applications and statements in relation to possession and injunctions court proceedings, anti social behaviour and judicial reviews. *To be responsible for complex cases under the assignment in which you are delegated. *To provide strategic and accurate Legal advice to the department You must have the following experience/Skills; *Experience and knowledge of a variety of Civil Litigation areas such as housing Litigation. *Previous experience in a Local Authority is desirable but not essential *Organisational skills and time management *Excellent accuracy and attention to detail *Interpersonal skills *Experience of advocacy is essential.
