New Job IT Technical Support Analyst for Central London - 8704 - Support Industry: IT Job Type: Contract Location: London, England Salary: £300 - £325 per day My client is looking three very strong IT Support Analysts for their Central London location The successful candidates will work within the IT Technology & Engineering Team providing 2nd and 3rd level application, infrastructure and project support. The role is mainly support focussed and the workload is mainly through Service Requests, Incidents and Problems. There is also Change Request management and project work when required. This role is ideal for someone who has been working in an integration and support role for a company with more than 500+ users. I will be particularly looking out for candidates who have been in 2nd-line or 3rd line Windows application and infrastructure support. (3 years plus experience) You will also need Office 365 at an enterprise level, and has undertaken some in-depth (project style) work Key Responsibilities Supporting software/hardware architecture and supporting the IT teams Supporting and implementing solutions Providing technical solutions and business requirements into technical project delivery Developing project schedule resource plans for implementation projects. Supporting the Technical Project Manager, Project Managers and and Business Analysts in the capture and analysis of requirements. Working with the the current Managed Services Provider to ensure integration with the provision of services and service levels and ensure service take on of the new solution. Working to agreed objectives and having full responsibility for quality of work performed as a technical specialist. Experience and Qualifications Experience needed includes 3- 5years experience in Information Technology *3+ years working with Microsoft Infrastructure and technologies including: Windows 2000/2003/2008 (32 & 64 bit) + Active Directory (to administration level with Group Policy) Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 VMware ESX 3, 4 & 5 (VMWare View an advantage) Web hosting with Windows technologies specifically Sharepoint 2003/2007, IIS6 & IIS7 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008 Microsoft Exchange 2007 Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 products Office 365 (Lync Voice an advantage) Has working experience of IT standards and codes of conduct Knowledge of Change Management and Service Delivery Industry best practice (e.g.ITIL) Knowledge of Licence management processes Has in-depth technical expertise in a variety of environments Ability to work in an ITIL framework managing complex technical problems across a variety of environments and products A self-starter, proactive and enthusiastic and with a high level of self-motivation and attention to detail and quality Strong analytic and problem solving skills (a clear and logical thinker). Creative and responsive to existing and new challenges Awareness of the impact of incidents, problems, service requests and change management on business services and operations. Creation and maintenance of quality infrastructure and software documentation.
