New Job Junior Web Developer - 5323IT Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Sheffield, England Salary: DOE Our client, a leading supplier of management systems to a niche sector, are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Junior Web Designer to develop new and exciting industry technology to a high standard, in line with the specifications of your manager and the senior developer. Deal with bugs in the current systems and develop enhancements for those systems. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Development of the back-end integration of API & XML bookable technology to ensure a smooth, speedy and problem free booking journey for the client 2.Development of mobile applications, CMS systems and other new projects which suit the needs of our online agency 3.Deal with bugs in the back-office software product which is used by our industry clients and fix as required 4.The role also involves an element of cover for the IT support part of the company (Full training will be provided) a)Provide support to software clients of the company and internal staff on a full time basis to cover their role for leave for sickness, training and holidays (approx. 4-6 weeks a year) b)On rare occasions where the support lines are busy, take over-flow calls, deal with support and customer queries and take messages where you cannot SKILLS: 1.Basic C# development skills - Essential 2.Basic Knowledge of VB6 and ASP.Net - Desirable Unfortunately due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individual feedback to all applicants.
