New Job Project Accountant - Interim - J820 Industry: Financial Services Job Type: Temporary Location: Southampton, England Salary: £300 - £350 per day + Negotiable Our client, a leading Financial Services organization are seeking two Interim Project Accountants to be responsible for the delivery of Finance projects and process improvements, and providing technical expertise on the finance aspects of company-wide projects. Main Responsibilities: Lead the technical support for the design and delivery of finance projects; and finance aspects of company-wide projects. Ensure a culture of continuous improvement is in place by Identifying and implementing improvements to the efficiency and quality of processes within the Finance department. Coach and develop Reporting Teams in Finance following the adoption of process changes arising from project developments. Strong, proactive risk and control management, to ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies following the standards and methodologies defined within the Risk Management Framework Qualifications & Experience: The successful candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), and have experience in working within the Financial Services sector. Experience in working within a project environment, and using Hyperion Financial Management would be a distinct advantage.
