New Job Project Operations Assistant - kh/poa/1508 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Staines, England Salary: £21000 - £23000 per annum As my client continues to grow this new role is vital in supporting the smooth running of their projects and essential company operations activities. Candidates need to be motivated, well organised, detail orientated and skilled at managing multiple priorities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in Resource Management and Project Operations in a fast paced consultancy environment. Your main responsibilities are to support the Resource Management function in the day-to-day scheduling of consultants, effectively matching consultants to projects with the aim of maximising revenue. In addition, you will also have other administrative responsibilities including booking external training courses, planning internal workshops, logging and tracking absences and holidays in Business By Design and assisting with future interview and induction co-ordination. Responsibilities: Support the Resource Management function in forward planning resource requirements in line with pre-sales, project and development needs. Day to day activities will include updating and maintaining central spreadsheets to record actual and forecast days, tracking illness/absences, highlighting any issues, updating consultants with project start/end details. Develop and maintain relationships with Consultants and Associates Use and maintain SAP for logging and tracking consultants time allocation, including holiday, sickness and key business information Attributes: Previous experience working in a consultancy environment or knowledge of SAP/IT skill sets would be an advantage, but is not a pre-requisite. Solid IT skills. Comfortable with manipulating data in Excel, and confident in MS Office. Strong organisation and planning skills. This will be a busy role and contains a number of key responsibilities, which may at times conflict with each other so you must be able to juggle multiple priorities.
