New Job Software Architect - VOMN-SADEL Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Delhi, India Salary: Competitive Venator Broadcast Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a world leader in conditional access, digital rights management and multi-screen solutions, seeking a Software Architect for their India Engineering centre. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for designing complex middleware components/subsystems such as Personal Video Recorder, Home Networking and UI Frameworks. You will work alongside the product owner, system architects and technical representatives of the customer to translate functional requirements in the field into impact analysis on the product and looking forward, to define evolution of existing interfaces. You will also be tasked with writing the Technical specifications enabling engineers to comprehend the necessary development. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will otherwise work closely with the Technical leads, Architects, Service staff, Testing and QA groups. Required/desired skills and experience: *A relevant degree (e.g. in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering) *8+ years experience in DVB Middleware/STB domain *Experience designing various Middleware components *The determination to develop professional quality structured software *In depth understanding of development processes, source control, build and integration mechanisms. *Prior experience working with a leading DVB Middleware, STB or chipset vendor This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading company who are ramping up activity at their India Engineering centre, making it the focal point for their middleware development for customers worldwide.
