NARA E HAIDARIIIIII Holy Prophet Muhammad al Mustafā (S.A.W.W) said:“Those who want to live and die like me and enter Paradise, and hold on to the tree that the Almighty Allāh has Himself planted, should love Ali (a.s.) and the successors after him and accept their merits. Because they are the favorite guides of Allāh. He has given them my knowledge and understanding. And they are my Ahle Bayt (a.s.) from my flesh and blood. I will complain to Allāh about their enemies from my Ummah, about those who deny their merits, and about those who cut off relations by oppressing them. By Allāh they will slay my son. Al-Muhaddith al-Fayd and other scholars have mentioned that if you desire to be saved from the misfortunes and bad luck of the month of Safar, you may repeat the following supplicatory prayer ten times every day in this month: يَا شَدِيدَ الْقُوَى وَ يَا شَدِيدَ الْمِحَالِ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَزِيزُ ذَلَّتْ بِعَظَمَتِكَ جَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ فَاكْفِنِي شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ يَا لا اِلَهَ اِلا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ اِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَ نَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَ كَذَلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ. As for Sayyid Ibn Tawus, he has mentioned a supplicatory prayer that is said at the sight the new moon of Safar. THE FIRST DAY OF SAFAR On the first of Safar, AH 37, the battle of Siffin broke out. According to some narrations, on this day in AH 61, the head of Imam al-Husayn, the chief of martyrs, entered the city of Damascus, the capital of the Umayyad rulers, on spearheads after it had been carried to it from al-Kufah, Iraq. Therefore, the Umayyads betook that day as feast day. A poet says, كانت مآتم بالعراق تعدها أموية بالشام من أعيادها In fact, on this day, the grievances of Imam al-Husayn’s adherents should be aroused. According to some narrations, on the first, or the third, of Safar, Zayd ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn was martyred. THE THIRD OF SAFAR Sayyid Ibn Tawus writes down on the authority of the books of some Imamiyyah scholars that it is recommended, on the third of Safar, to offer a two unit prayer at the first of which Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-Fath (No. 48) should be recited and at the second, Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-Tawheed should be recited. After accomplishment, invocation of blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household, invocation of curse upon the Umayyad, and imploration for forgiveness repeated one hundred times each. After all that, one may pray for granting his needs. The invocation of curse upon the Umayyads should be in the following form: اللّهمّ العن ال ابى سفيان THE SEVENTH OF SAFAR According to the opinions of al-Shahid and al-Kaf’ami, Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba(a.s.) was martyred on the seventh of Safar, AH 50. As for the two Shaykhs, Imam al-Hasan (a.s.) was martyred on the twenty-eighth of Safar.On the seventh of Safar, AH 128, Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kazim (a.s.) was born at al-Abwa’ - a place between Makkah and al-Madinah. [AL MULK (67) - Source - duas.org / imamreza.net / al-islam.org 1) Whoso recites Surah MULK before going to sleep would remain in Allah’s protection till the day of judgement and would go to paradise. 2) Whoso recites Surah MULK regularly remains safe from the chastisement of grave because all his limbs and parts of body would tell Munkar and Nakir that this man had been reciting surah al Mulk throughout his life. 3) Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) said that Surah MULK will remove its reciter from Hellfire and take him to Jannah. 4) Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that one who recites Surah MULK will be given his book of deeds in his right hand on the Day of Judgement and will be counted from among the friends of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) and his family. 5) If recited on a person who has just died, his soul gets immediate relief. 6) Whoso memorises Surah MULK , it would be his companion in the grave and save him from all punishments till the day of judgement, intercede for him and take him to paradise. 7) Keeping Surah MULK in writing works as a cure from aches and pains. 8) If Surah MULK is recited for isal thawab of brothers-in-faith it reaches them with the speed of lightning and keeps them from the punishments of the grave. (Kitabus sadkah)(peg-.42) [ THE POWER OF KALEMA Imam al-Baqir(as): gar momin is duniya me musibat me mubtela ho aur LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH kahe to Allah(swt) oske saare gunaho ko maaf kar dega siwai bade gunah jiski saza jahannum ki aag tai ho. Aainda jab bhi musibat me mubtela ho to LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH kaho aur Allah ki hamdo sina karo aaisa karne se Allah(swt) tumhare sare gunaho ko baksh dega jo do laa ilaaha illallah ke bich me huve ho, siwai ke bade gunaho ke. Imam al-Baqir(as): If a believer faces a calamity in this world and utters LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH, Allah(swt) will forgive all of his sins except the greater sins for which punishment of Hell is obligatory. Utter LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH and glorify Allah(swt) whenever you are faced by calamities in future. In this case Allah(swt) will forgive all the sins committed between two utterness ( of the above phrase) except greater sins.(Sawaabul Aamal Pg.253 Eng) Ruling of Imam Zamaan (atfs) In Sheikh Mohammad Mahdi Zayn al-Abedeen Najafis book (Bayaan ul-Aimmah), it states in volume 2, pages 461-462: According to many scholars, my ancestor, Sheikh Zayn al-Abedeen Najafi had many divine powers from Allah (swt) bestowed upon him due to his spirituality. This event is in regard to one of them, and it occurred during the lifetime of Sheikh Zayn al-Abedeen Najafi. The locals of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Gafgaaz had written to the Grand Maraje in Najaf whom they follow, asking their verdict about the permissibility of using drums, striking ones head with a blade, role plays, and so on. It was agreed that one messenger would deliver the letters to each of their selected maraje and would collect the sealed replies to bring back to Tehran. Once he had returned, these sealed replies would be read out publicly in a mosque called Shah Mosque, so that the followers of each marja would learn their rulings. On his return, the messenger called everyone to the mosque, and began to read the replies. Some maraje stated there is no necessity for these acts, whereas others stated they are permissible. In particular, they replied that striking ones head with a blade is permissible if no harm is caused. Then the letter of Sheikh Zayn al-Abedeen was read out, it stated: In the name of the Exalted. I was undecided on whether I should prohibit or permit these acts; therefore, I left for Masjid Sahla and I approached my esteemed Imam, Hujjat ibn al-Hassan (atfs). Addressing Him with this issue, He gave me in reply, a ruling that stated the permissibility of these acts, and therefore, in obedience to my esteemed Imam, I state likewise.
