New Yorks HOSPITAL FOR SPECIAL SURGERY, AKA The Chop House continues to deny responsibility for the botched back surgery that crippled my right foot. If you are contemplating back surgery at this well-known facility DO NOT ACCEPT their opinion as to whether (or what level of) surgery is appropriate. They built their vast Upper East Side Empire on public relations and slick advertising, not client satisfaction. They are in the business of cutting, not healing. Get a SECOND OPINION. Dont believe the boastful ads they spend millions promulgating, trying to increase their market share and keep their surgeons slicing. Remember, when you hear Hospital for Special Surgery, think Chop House. I lost my right foot at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
