New bike or new front fork? Ive got a 2008ish Specialized Hardrock hardtail that I love dearly but has shown some signs of wear. Its a 26 thats been kept decently maintained, but the front fork is shot. Ive got it locked out, but it wont unlock so its essentially a rigid. Its seen a bunch of trail miles and well over a thousand street miles. What do you do? Buy a new bike or start to upgrade major components? Frame doesnt show any signs of fatigue.
