New laptop deployed with IE 8. Was asked to update my browser. I did, and it updated to IE 11. Not two min later I get a message from the principal Sharepoint architect asking me NOT to update to IE 11 as there are known comparability issues with Sharepoint 2013. First - IE 11 is MSa flagship browser and Sharepoint 2013 is their flagship CMS platform. Did they really not test these together before release? Secondly - I am amazed at how hard this update is to rollback. Friday night and 6:30 screwing around with MS software isnt my idea of fun.
