News : Skeyndor to enter Indian retail market in three years Spanish beauty and cosmetics firm Skeyndor is working to enter the Indian retail market under a new brand name in the next three years. The brand which is currently marketed by Delhi-based Ekta Cosmetics Ltd in India to B2B customers such as beauty salons and spa, will keep use the local partnership for its expansion in the retail segment. "We have just started working on the plan of retailing Skeyndor products in India. It will take about three years. It will be Skeyndor line of products but under a different brand name," Ekta Cosmetics Ltd Managing Director Ravi Mittal told PTI here. The company plans to target upper middle class, high-end customers to buy its products, Mittal said. Skeyndor, a 20 million euro company, entered into the Indian market in August 2011. It sells its products to over 100 premium beauty salons and spa around the country. Source : ET
