This evening I was informed by the Duxbury Police that a white male in his 20s tried to lure a nine-year-old girl into his car Sunday evening. He told the girl that his daughter was in the same class and he had something for her. The girl was not harmed as she ran away from the car. I ask that our parents reemphasize with their children never to approach a stranger’s car, no matter what that person says and to report the incident to a parent as soon as possible. Thank you.
