News from Three Bears Quilting Fall Greetings to all our Quilting Friends far and near! We hope this quick update finds everyone happy, healthy and quilting and sewing lots! The Bears have been very busy quilting for all of our loyal, longtime customers, as well as welcoming our many new customers from the Triangle as well as “down east”. It is a pleasure and a privilege to work for each and every one of you. As many of you know, Three Bears Quilting was awarded another “Best Machine Quilting” award at the Crystal Coast Show in May. Of course we were thrilled, but also for our many customers who won multiple ribbons. Don’t forget that next year, 2014, is a very busy show year. The Durham Orange Quilters as well as the Twin River Quilters each hold their very popular bi-annual show in the fall. It’s not too early to begin planning your entries. The Bears anticipate a very busy schedule! For our customers located in Chapel Hill and the Triangle, our next four pick up/drop off dates at Thimble Pleasures are September 12th (tomorrow), October 10th, Nov 7th and Dec 12th – all Thursdays. Hope that helps with your planning of holiday quilts and gifts. Be sure to let us know you are dropping off a quilt to be picked up. Johnny usually arrives around 11:00, but feel free to bring it to the store any time before that. Margaret will call you to discuss quilting ideas and options, including thread selection, batting and design.
