Next came the leaf springs. I called all the spring manufactures I could find and they all said it cant be done. Well I called one more guy in Fresno Ca. He said sure, I make stainless coil springs. So he told me what grade of stainless to buy and what to heat treat it to. So I ordered a 10 piece of 1/4 X 4 and had it sheared at 13/4 then that left 2 1/4 for the rear spring. Took to my local spring manufacture and he bent it up for me. Then I assembled them to check it, then off to the heat treater. They came back purple! Took them apart and started polishing them.
