Then, please take a few minutes to pray that during the next two days, the Lord will guide the three of us who will consider if the vimeo should be expanded into a 16-part documentary series and a 16-week interactive, online and classroom curriculum, to re-introduce God’s word to future generations around the world. FROM BREAKTHROUGHS IN ‘A’ & ‘B’ to ‘C’ The vimeo summarizes my lectures during the recent tour of Australia (‘A’). As you can scroll down on my FB page to see, FamilyVoice Australia is selling the DVDs of some of the lectures. These were targeted at people with college education. However, in every state capital, I ran into school teachers who had fallen in love with “The Book That Made Your World: How the Bible Created the Modern World.” They want that teaching to be made available to High School students. • One Principal has invited me to spend at least one week in his school as a Thinker-In-Residence. • Three states in Australia have urged me to return in 2014 to speak in Professional Development conferences for High School teachers. Many of these teachers love the Lord Jesus. But they studied in secular universities, and their church did not teach them that God’s word is the Light of Life – not just the pathway to heaven. • Some friends began to feel that it will be best if the entire course was made available to every student in Australia. (‘B’) BREAKTHROUGHS IN BRAZIL Thanks to your prayers, incredible doors opened up in Brazil during the last ten days. Twice, I was invited to speak to the Evangelical Parliamentary Front. Four major churches in the country opened their pulpits for me. Two seminaries, L’Abri Fellowship, and the Instituto Transforma Transforma (my host) organized other events. The primary purpose of the visit was to promote the Portuguese edition of “The Book That Made Your World,” but much time went in watering the sprouting seeds that had been sown during the previous visits. In 2010, in a conference on Transforming Brazil, where they released their edition of “Truth and Transformation”, I suggested that if they really wanted to transform their nation, they had to equip 50,000 churches to double-up as college class room, using the Internet to stream in the curriculum. Back then most thought that it was a dream – asking them to walk on moon. Yet, they asked me to come back and discuss the vision with key leaders. In 2011, about 30 leaders met for three days and a group began to have weekly Skype conferences to consider the proposal. Dr. Bob Moffitt, who had heard the proposal when I first presented it, came along for that second meeting as well. On this third visit, it was a pleasant surprise to find him here again. A significant group of resourceful leaders have taken the vision seriously. They are trying to extricate themselves from Individualism of the American gospel that is not interested in transforming nations. Leaders of Christian Schools in Brazil began to urge me to come back to speak to their teachers, who have never been taught how the Bible created the greatest nations in history. The Association of all private schools in Brazil that ministers to over two million children is headed up by a person, whose pastor is teaching my books. Several key leaders will meet on November 4 to get started with Brazil’s education revolution. And now the ‘C’ – CANADA The Association of Christian Teachers in Western Canada was the first to tell me that “The Book That Made Your World” is making a huge impact on Christian school teachers. Again, these teachers love the Lord, but neither their university, nor their churches taught them the world changing power of the Bible. During the next two days, in Surrey, BC I will give four lectures to over 300 teachers: 1. Why Couldn’t Education Save Soviet Union? 2. Why Did Modern Education Begin As Church’s Mission? 3. Can Postmodern Education Recover Veritas and Virtue? 4. Can the Teaching Profession Become a “High Calling?” In two weeks I will return to Calgary, AB to speak to another group of 500 Christian teachers. The next two days are critical because a very special couple will be coming to the lectures. They are asking the Lord if they should team up with me to turn the vimeo mentioned above into a 16-part television series REFORMATION500. This documentary series will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and serve as the basis for an educational curriculum to be distributed globally. The project is too big for us – but is anything too hard for the Lord? The Association of Christian Teachers tells me that potentially the course can be taken to 100,000 schools around the world!
