NiKKi fact of the day! I have a lot of scars and some funny/interesting stories behind them. Most are really faded and not noticeable unless Im looking at them closeup in the mirror. Starting from the very top to the very bottom: Right Temple- I got poison oak or something like that when I was younger. On my face lol. It left 3 little round speckle scars. Right of upper lip- My first kitty ever was half way underneath my bed when I was a kid. I tried to pull him back and he got scared and jumped. His claw got me right above my lip and theres a little scar line still there. Inner right cheek- My sister smacked me in the jaw with a golf club when we were little. A real, heavy golf club. Theres no scarring on the outside even though there was a gash in my face for a while haha, but I chomped down on my cheek and bit a chunk out of it. That was one of the most painful months of my life since it took forever to heal. Food, drinks, toothpaste, numbing mouth cream all made me cry. I occasionally accidentally bite down on the scar inside of my mouth and I now have an abundance of scar tissue there lol. Back right of my neck- Right next to my hairline, I have this big goopy looking spot of scar tissue. That is my chickenpox battle scar from when I was a baby!! Middle of my chest- I have a long thin line scar between my ladies. Ive had it since I was a kid, and I still have absolutely no clue what it is from. Going to ask my mother if she knows next time I talk to her!! Right wrist- I caught the skin on top of my wrist in a screen door spring thingy somehow. It slice my skin open. Its a tiny little reminder of the horrible pain my screen door cause me ahahahah Right pointer finger knuckle- I was in 5th grade maybe...and I tried to open a tomato can. The electric can opener we had was TERRIBLE and wouldnt open things all the way before it would screw up or stop working. I got most of the can lid off and decided to be a herp derp and pull up the rest. (OF COURSE it wasnt done cautiously! ) It flung back into my knuckle and I freaked out like crazy. Couldnt tell what was blood and what was tomato juice LOLOL I was rushed to the hospital and they glued my knuckle back together. I now have a weird zigzag scar!! Lower left and lower right of my tummy- In 2012 I had an emergency surgery due to ovarian cysts causing an ovarian torsion. For those afraid to google the term- it means my cysts got angry at me and weighed down my ovary until it twisted around itself. I had the right ovary surgically removed, but they cut open my left side too in order to make sure the other side was okay. They also cut through my bellybutton. As far as physical experiences and pain, that was the worst thing I have ever been through. 10 out of 10 pain. For 2 days before I was taken to the hospital and learned that I was pretty much dying. Violent vomiting every few minutes on top of some other horrible physical symptoms. NEVER AGAIN PLEASE. The two scars left are surprisingly tiny! But on the darker side. Upper right thigh and hip- Dark time in my life that Im still afraid to talk about in detail but Im sick of hiding and ignoring. Eventually I will open up completely but Im not quite ready yet and would prefer to keep this post from getting dark and unpleasant! No questions about these ones, please! ^^ Inner left kneecap- lolol when I was younger I accidentally stabbed myself there with a sharp pencil. Once it healed over I noticed there was pencil stuck inside. I could see the little blue/grey color below my skin. Fast forward to not long after I turned 18. I met that weirdo Justin (who I am happily dating and living with) and we decided to try to get the pencil out of my knee. We tried to dig it out together. IT WASNT SUCCESSFUL AND I HAVE A FUNNY LOOKING SCAR THERE NOW. But I mean at least I cant see the pencil tip anymore ahahahaha Left and right shins- I am covered in little tiny scars (and some larger ones) because I suck at shaving my legs. To this day I still try to go quickly when I do this and more little scars keep adding up. AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR SHAVING THEIR LEGS. I believe thats it! Feel free to share any FUNNY OR INTERESTING scar stories! Please no sad stories, I just dont want anyone reading (or myself! or the person writing the comment!) to feel sad or be put into a bad mood.
