Nice write up in the Birmingham Post yesterday about Nick Boles MP Skills Ministers recent visit to Saltley School to see for himself the work that is being done on the Birmingham Baccalaureate. We are working very hard now rolling out this program to help young people get the skills they need to have a great start in life whatever their career path. We receive no local government funding in Birmingham and the work is supported by local businesses and schools. Its great that because of the hard work of the Skilled and Ready team hundreds of our young people are able to take advantage of the opportunities of the Birmingham Baccalaureate program. It will help them take the next steps in life whether that is towards apprenticeships, traineeships, further education or the workplace. Pictured below with the team from Skilled and Ready and senior teaching staff from Saltley School, and taking part in a lively interview skills workshop with the great staff from Hays Recruitment, who have supported our work.
