Nichelle Flowers - Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center We want to recognize each of our associates that has earned the distinction of Associate of the Year. Get to know Nichelle Flowers and read her award presentation speech below: On the road to greatness there are no traffic jams, just steady progress. Nichelle Flowers is truly on that road and has grown into a leader in her own right. Starting as a Foodservice Aide at Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center seven years ago, Nichelle has always sought a challenge. She moved into the position of Cook, a role in which she learned the ups and downs of what it means to be a leader. Most importantly, Nichelle made sure that her experiences and learning did not discourage her from continued achievement. Given the challenge of Bistro Chef Nichelle accepted a position that pushed her to continue learning and growing. As Bistro Chef, her petals fully bloomed and Nichelle became a key part of the Lexington team. She always has a pleasant smile, offering kind words or a jokester conversation, and all with the ability to gain a smile in return. Nichelle has been very successful with the Bistro because she takes ownership with pride and never ceases to provide outstanding customer service. Whenever Foodservice is in need of help, she is always willing to step in and fill that need. Nichelle has become quite an asset with the ability to not only preform any position in the kitchen but to also assist with any duties in the office – part of her nature to continually grow. She is always there to assist in making the work day better for those around here. It is with great pleasure that the Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center’s 2013 Associate of the Year Award is presented to Nichelle Flowers.
