Nigeria 2015 polls: The new threat called online poll...! If I have any fear in life, its sure about the political future of Nigeria as 2015 general elections draw nearer. With the polity already experiencing the political heat as politicians jostle for votes, theres one emerging threat that we should all be conscious of and do all we can to avoid if we love this country. Thats the threat which online poll purported to be giving some politicians interested in the 2015 elections, electoral edge over others; represents. In our clime where we are barely sincere to ourselves, online poll with premeditated outcome, only means sabotaging our collective electoral future before it arrives. While online poll is popular and done with sincerity in civilized climes to test popularity of candidates for elections, it often doesnt go the way of the results at the end of the day....doubting Thomases should ask yes campaigners in the recent Scottish independence referendum. Nigerians must thus be careful and weary of cooked online poll results. We must equally be smart enough to realize that few power must be ours folks are out to do a monumental mischief in our polity. The game plan is to churn out junk online poll results to give whoever they have chosen popularity such political stooge never and will never have and use this as pretext to forment trouble the moment their candidates fail to win the election. We must shine our eyes Nigeria because online polls hardly work. We must be careful not to be fooled again by politicians. Candidates must be willing to face the electorates with their programmes to win votes and not ignoble resort to media arm twisting of the people to shore up beleaguered popularity in the name of online poll. I call on all Nigerians irrespective of both political and religious divide, to be awake and circumspective enough to understand game plan of our common enemies: politicians which is to white-wash gullible minds and use same to cause violence to achieve their usual goal of enslaving the people while they live in affluence.
