Nigeria is 53 years, wow dats gud and celebration is going on and alot of activities in d 36 states of d country, but d question dat lingers in my hrt is wat hav we achieved in d past 53yrs and in d last century? Are our leaders living up to d national anthem which says in d 4th stanzar" THE LABOUR OF OUR HEROS PAST SHALL NEVER BE IN VAIN" are they serveing us with their heart and might? Are they faithful loyal and honest in serveing dis land dat is richly endowed with natural reasources, i dnt think so. We are celebrating 53 yrs of power failure, incompetent leaders, 53 yrs of strike, crises, humilation, and lots more. We are celebrating when our schs are shot down 4 over 3 mnths now, Education which should be paramount is now d list tin in d agender of d country,where are we going 4rm here? when ever i remember hw bad tins are going in dis country it makes me feel bad, hw i wish our leaders ill hav a re-think and stop been selfish and self centered. We d citizens equally hav a role to play, we hav to change our attitude and embrace peace and unity i strongly believe dat if d gap between d leaders and d citizens is bridged we ill remain one country which is d dream of our past leaders.
