**Night Porter Required** **The Earl of Doncaster Hotel** We are now looking to recruit an experienced Night Porter, working a minimum 40 hours per week, with varying shifts dependent on business need. The ideal candidate for the night porter role will be a highly organised individual who has worked in a similar environment holding hotel operational knowledge and also with experience of working night shifts where guest care is paramount.. Previous experience within Food & Beverage, Conference & Banqueting and Reception areas will be key along with the experience of using front office system such as Rez Lynz. Night Porter Summary: Your main aim will be guest care, satisfaction and security Check In and Out of our guests, adhering to Company standards along with ensuring we meet our guests expectations ·You will be the first point of contact for our guests and deal with any queries or requests our guests have during the night hours You will be responsible for completing shift procedures, dealing with banking, cash and credit card transactions you have taken throughout your shift Health and Safety, security and fire walks to be maintained in order to provide a safe environment for our guests and employees Ensure that all forms of communication to internal and external customers including switch board, emails are to be handled in a professional manner and adhering to company standards To be fully conversant with hotel facilities and promotions and have knowledge of the local area To maximise revenue generation opportunities To ensure the hotel is set for the next day as per the confirmed business / function sheets Ensure all general public areas are clean and tidy and presentable Liaise with C&B Manager / Operations Manager to ensure all conference rooms are set to company standard and that full handovers are completed to maximise communication across all areas Apply online: caterer/JobSearch/JobDetails.aspx?JobId=61562633
