Each model of Nissans iconic 370Z sports car offers an expanded range of trim levels for the new model year, along with a number of other key enhancements – starting with a new design for the ultra-performance 370Z NISMO. The 370Z NISMO goes from one previous grade level to four, including the first available automatic transmission, while the 370Z Coupe and 370Z Roadster lineups grow to eight (from four) and five (from three) respectively. In conjunction with the addition of new trim levels, all option packages have been removed, streamlining the ordering and purchase process. The starting Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (M.S.R.P.) for the 370Z Coupe with manual transmission remains unchanged at $29,990 USD. The 2015 370Z NISMO has a starting MSRP of $41,990 USD (manual transmission), a reduction of $1,030 USD from the 2014 model. The 2015 370Z Roadster starts at $41,820 USD. Along with the new Sport and Sport Tech grades (available in both manual and automatic transmission versions), enhancements include standard Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System on all models and revised steering feel and suspension tuning. New black-finished 18-inch wheels are offered on 370Z and 370Z Touring models and the Nissan Navigation System is now standard on 370Z Touring. The 2015 370Z Coupe is equipped with a standard 332-horsepower 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) and choice of 6-speed manual transmission with an available SynchroRev Match® synchronized downshift rev matching system or a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The most striking change for 2015 is its revised exterior design. Its GT-R-inspired functional and fully integrated aerodynamic body pieces have been redesigned to provide an aggressive and more aerodynamic new appearance. Key changes include a new deep front fascia with Hyper LED Daytime Running Lights, black headlight bezels, signature NISMO red stripe accents and reshaped and downsized rear spoiler. It is offered in just four exterior colors – Solid Red, Magnetic Black, Brilliant Silver and Pearl White. Inside, the unique NISMO-styled interior is enhanced with redesigned black-and-red Recaro® leather-appointed seats with Alcantara® accents. Torque is rated at 276 lb-ft. Two transmission choices are offered for the first time on the 370Z NISMO model. The close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission features standard SynchroRev Match®, the worlds first synchronized downshift rev matching manual transmission, which allows rev-matched heel-toe-like downshifting. Newly available is a refined 7-speed automatic with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM), Adaptive Shift Control and manual shift mode with paddle shifters. The 370Z NISMO also features a NISMO-tuned 4-wheel independent suspension, large Nissan Sport Brakes and a Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VLSD).
