No changes to going forecast with snow expected to begin shortly after 6pm, when a Winter Weather Advisory will go into affect. Expecting a general 3-5, with an isolated 6 total possible mainly south of a Joliet to Valparaiso line. The snowfall rates could approach an inch per hour for about a 2 hour period, but probably just after rush hour this evening. Perhaps the biggest issue will be the winds later tomorrow and into Wednesday with gusts as high as 40 mph, which will cause considerable blowing and drifting snow and severely reduced visibilities as well as dangerous travel in open areas. Will likely go with a separate Advisory for blowing snow after the snow fall completes overnight. Use extra caution if planning travel during these periods.
