No hunting today apparently Arkona got 2 inches of Rain !! I had to take jeep over to Shawn to look at it because my battery light came on , Shawn thinks could be Alternator ( but after I turned the jeep off the light went off) so Shawn will order parts to be safe . So then I was making a quick run to port Huron today to pick up 45 caliber powder pellets from Dunhams , which they said they had 3 boxes of ,got there they only had one! Then drove over to Kmart way across town to pick up NuWave Oven I ordered for Jeremys birthday get there its not there ! Now I know its in because they called me I go back out to car and get my phone which I turn off In states and listen to message again its at the sears at Birchwood Mall ( apparently Kmart and Sears are together ) which I had just come from !!! So as Im tallying up my purchase at Kmart ( candy and prolosec ) and I know how much NuWave cooker costs I m hoping I dont get pulled in to pay duty so while Im thinking about that I put bills in my little wallet and go to get my license ready in cause I do get pulled in , I cant find it ( I put it In my hunting pouch which is at home in kitchen )!! LoL ,I do not like not having my license on me!! For sure Ill get a ticket now right . Plus if you have to pay duty they allow ask for drivers license . So very carefully I drive back to the Mall across town obeying all speed signs and take the wrong cut off and end up on the bridge again!! Kind man at booth I told my story to suggested I go back through customs and try it again to get to the Mall by now its sleeting hard pellets and Im ready to give up !!! I go up bridge do a U turn head back through customs (without a license ) and the nice man laughed at me and offered directions which i kindly turned down with a smile. Them head back to the Mall in and out of jeep 2x because I wasnt Im the right part of Sears !!!!!!!!!! And finally have Jeremys NuWave and only spent 196.00 limit is (200.00) per day trip . Got gas and am more than ready to head home it looks like the sky is black and Im worried about the jeeps alternator and the sleet snow and I had planned to stop and see my horse Holly on my way home . I get across bridge and traffic is lined up 20 minute wait get to booth kind lady let me go home no duty , yes , I will never drive without my license again . later back on 402 heading for home . Wow so much for a Quick trip .thank goodness jeep ran good and weather stayed good and I made it home without a ticket. I left tilbury around 11:00 am !!!!!!! Rum time!!
