No idea why the worlds government cant just focus on something like this, and get plans in place and isolate these nations, travels, and resource medical supplies. I mean plagues of this magnitude have hit many times before, and in many cases, had wiped out cities and nations, a big percentage of people!! I mean a plague that destroyed 100,000 people back in the 1600s in todays percentage will be more like 2 billion!! And to think we trade goods and fly around the world in much faster ways than in the 1600s too you know!! Heres just one entry from Wikipedia... Black Death, from 1347 to 1453. The total number of deaths worldwide is estimated at 75 million people.[15] Eight hundred years after the last outbreak, the plague returned to Europe. Starting in Asia, the disease reached Mediterranean and western Europe in 1348 (possibly from Italian merchants fleeing fighting in Crimea), and killed an estimated 20 to 30 million Europeans in six years;[16] a third of the total population,[17] and up to a half in the worst-affected urban areas.[18] It was the first of a cycle of European plague epidemics that continued until the 18th century.[19] There were more than 100 plague epidemics in Europe in this period.[20] The disease recurred in England every two to five years from 1361 to 1480.[21] By the 1370s, Englands population was reduced by 50%.[22] The Great Plague of London of 1665–66 was the last major outbreak of the plague in England. The disease killed approximately 100,000 people, 20% of Londons population.[23]
