No idea why they are called this (if anyone knows please enlighten me) but tonight we did African Chicken Wings with home made french fries!!! They were spicy and delicious and I highly recommend cooking them super crispy!!! Here you go if you want to try them too!!! - Tosh :) AFRICAN CHICKEN WINGS What Youll Need: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper (see Tips) 2/3 cup lemon juice 4 large garlic cloves, crushed 2 teaspoons salt 2 teaspoons ground black pepper 5 to 6 pounds split chicken wings or drumettes What To Do: Preheat the oven to 400 degree F. Coat rimmed baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the chicken wings; mix well. Rinse and pat the chicken wings dry; place in the sauce and toss to coat well. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until done to desired crispness.
