No joke...my phone stopped working yesterday. Called customer service today and was told I would need to go into the At&T store. Apparently, someone by the name of Carl went into an AT&T retail store in GEORGIA (I live in Missouri) was then added to my account as an authorized user and told them he had lost his sim card and really needed his same phone number. This is the same Carl that I get countless phone calls for since the time I got my new phone and number last month. So, they (the store in Georgia) invalidated my sim card and gave him my number (his old number)and added him to my account?????? If he wanted his number back so much, he could have just called me and politely asked. NO...he ended up hacking into all my info, breaking laws and the common code of just being a decent person. I have no idea what of my identity, accounts, etc...he has had access to the past 24 hours. Anyway...I now once again have a new phone number. I apologize to anyone who has tried to contact me. If you have gotten any messages from 573-999-9503 in the past day...ignore them. This number, the one he wanted so badly is now locked up for the next 90 days. If after that time you receive any communication from it please let me know.
